Happy Thanksgiving

Everyone I've talked to that knows we're from out-of-state has let us know we should feel lucky- there's usually snow on the ground or a raging storm during thanksgiving day. we have neither right now. i still don't understand why it's "lucky" to not have snow? 

both Abbie and i have today off and it's been a fairly good day! for 1, it's my first paid holiday. (definitely hasn't happened in a long time) and 2, we'll be heading over to the Gavin's place for a little turkey, etc.... hopefully you are all well and that the holiday season (which surprisingly, i've been craving for a couple weeks) finds you well. there's goes the oven- got to go rescue the pumpkin pie!
