LET IT SNOW!

It's that time of the year again- birthday central. Happy Birthday to all included (you know who you are)! Hopefully this season isn't overtaking your annual occasion! As I was shopping in the local grocery store today, I realized that I like putting together concoctions in my head of what would be a "good" recipe, but THANKFUL they never come into realization. Walking down the aisles, dodging the early morning bargain hunters, I found that if provoked, I could probably hold my own in a last-item-left tug of war...

The last few days (weeks, even) there have been forecasts of snow, snow showers, show flurries, etc, etc.... I've seen some white stuff, but only for an hour or two at a time. The next couple days they're calling for more and I'm growing skeptical of the forecasters in the area. If I don't wake up with snow on the ground soon, I'll have to start suing people! Well, maybe not that harsh, but I need it soon!

Today I face a daunting task of cooking turkey stuffing for 20, meatfilled and vegan styles for our weekly college group meeting. Should be fun. Definitely not what Joe and Rachel are undertaking....they're doing everything else! WHEW! I like cooking, but I don't know how I like cooking under pressure yet. You won't find me on Iron Chef any time soon, that's for sure.

I'm looking forward to winter activities- ice skating, skiing/boarding, snowball fights, whitewashes, but we need snow. I hope we get some soon. We haven't seen any new movies lately and I don't want to have to start!

That's all for now- I hope this finds you in good spirits for the upcoming joyous celebrations!
